Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)

If you are 70½ or older, a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a meaningful way to support Contigo Youth Club while being a good steward of the blessings God has entrusted to you.

What is a QCD?

A QCD allows you to make a gift directly from your IRA to a nonprofit like Contigo Youth Club. Instead of receiving the distribution as income, the funds go straight to the ministry—often resulting in tax advantages for the donor.

Why many donors choose this option

For many of our supporters, giving through a QCD is both practical and prayerful. It allows you to:

  • Give generously while being a wise steward of your resources

  • Fulfill your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) in a meaningful way

  • Invest directly in the lives of young people who need guidance, hope, and community

Your gift helps create a safe, Christ-centered space where teens are known, loved, and supported.

Giving details

  • Donors may give up to $110,000 per year through QCDs

  • Gifts must be made directly from your IRA to Contigo Youth Club to qualify

How to make a QCD gift

  1. Contact your IRA administrator.
  2. Request a Qualified Charitable Distribution to Contigo Youth Club.
  3. Ask that the check be made payable directly to Contigo Youth Club and mailed to us.

(Please note: QCDs are only available from IRAs, not from 401(k)s or other employer-sponsored plans.)

We’re here for you

If you have questions or would like help with the process, we’re happy to assist. We also encourage you to speak with your tax advisor as you prayerfully discern the best way to give.

Thank you for walking alongside Contigo Youth Club and the young people we serve. Your generosity helps us continue this mission of faith, presence, and hope.
